I have never had a sufficient set of you-know-whats (starts with 'b' ends with 'alls') to give this blazer a go-which is a shame cos it's a ridiculously good looking puppy. Every time I put it on and I'm about to walk out the door....off it comes, back on the hanger, back into the closet.

I guess it's because of the vibrant shade of green and the zany button front that it needs to be the right day, right time and right frame of mind.

One of the countless dvds we watched this weekend was Zoolander and it got me to thinking, "Who cares? So what? What's the worst that can happen? Someone thinks I look stupid? Someone laughs? Someone wonders if I got dressed in the dark? If I wear that blazer, it won't cause the world to come crashing down around me and should I give a shit what others think?"

Cue Sunday morning. Family get together.....I'm gonna do it, I'm gonna do it, do it, do it, do it!!

AND I DID.......................................................until I got to the front door. I made Big R wait, car running, while I changed into another jacket. So angry at myself.

Bloody phone started going off....

My fave heeled brogues...

Maybe I should just sell it on trade me. Maybe someone else should have the chance to give it the wearing it deserves, with a kick-ass outfit and a hint of 'Blue Steel'.

Any suggestions on an outfit that could give me some mojo in this blazer? Or should I just let it go?
