I feel like Charlie Bucket. The other day, bored, strolling past the magazine slash diary slash Lotto shop, wondering if I should punish myself by going in. This place has a tendency to be filled with the usual commercial rubbish and it IS a punishment when you're in the need of a decent magazine fix. Bite the bullet (that can't be good for my teeth?), rock on in (okay, embellishing a bit, I entered in a normal fashion), me to the lovely lady, "Do you guys sell Frankie?" "Mmm...no, we only sell what people ask for." Hmmmm, so that makes me.......?

Anyways...sometimes it pays not to judge. I kept looking around and lovingly nestled (read: horrifyingly and undeservedly thrust!) between NW, Cleo and some other mundane "fashion tat"......POP MAGAZINE> ISSUE 21.

Actually, 2 copies-each of the Tavi covers. Strike me down, I don't friggin' believe it!! Here. In Westfield WestCity. I take back my rant in the previous post---okay, no, bit hasty, I issue a "Blandness Pass-Single Use Only, Not For Resale."

$24.60 lighter in pocket, 54kg lighter in step (floating!) and nearly 12 minutes older from the deliberation over which cover to pick, I left with (what I think is) a little bit of fashion iconography and a sense of finding the 5th Golden Ticket....

Some of you might find this a mix of stupid, who gives a flying s#$t and what's the big deal? Hmmm, for me? BIG deal. HUGE. I'm kinda proud of it AND it's a well wicked read. Definitely destined to live in the DO NOT DEFACE pile.

Russh...sigh. My sub doesn't start til next issue..aarrgggh! Wondered why every other blogger was goin' on about it and I'm thinking some freaky bastard had stolen my copy........so had to buy my own.....

This is also the reason I've bloggernated the past few days, no outfits to post...do you really wanna see my jarmies?...I've been greedily absorbing every last page of my maggy haul. Pop, Russh, FQ (hmmm, disappointing) and Frankie. That's a lot to read through!! I've mentally spent thousands and mentalogged several outfits I can't wait to unleash on the unsuspecting Westies around here. Better prepare for the stares, whispers, cackles and the odd shout of "Freak!"

Big R has a gig tonight, but cannot attend for I am nil by mouth (of alcohol) and am required to be fully non-bleedy and stone cold sober tomorrow. Finally the last session of colour work on my tattoo...YAY!
