The outfits that
A: sounded good in your head but didn't translate to a actual, wearable outfit.
B: look awesome on.....inside your house but not really for the general public.
C: you love it, you wore it but you didn't feel fashion-y/trendy/stylie enough to post it in the world of fashion blogs.
D: the photos you took were just, plain crappy and unflattering but you're gutted cos you actually really liked the outfit you had on.
Here's one of my randoms that I cannot believe I'm actually going to post but figure I can't have an eternally edited blog.......so don't laugh (okay, laugh but with me not at me), don't judge (to my face but you can point and sledge me to your mates) and Fashion Gods, please forgive me!!!!

This is just part 1. Trust me, there's a fair few more where these came from!!!!It kinda feels like a fashion blog faux pas to post this stuff, but it's like a cleansing ritual before 2010 to rid me of my outfit demons and start the new year with a clean slate.

Yeah, all those moments are shared by everyone at least once haha. I love all these posted outfits though - definitely wear them out more. The last outfit is such a romantic one - its darlingg.

ReplyDeleteahhh there are SO many outfits i've planned out in my head that just look dreadful when actually put together. i also have so many crappy photos and then outfits i didn't think were good enough. glad to hear i'm not the only blogger with photos like that :)

dude I LOVE the all white outfit! It feels so snowy and wintry white. I'd wear that in public, private, to sleep in, um... yeah like everything. In fact I really want that sweater. With your dark hair too... I would NEVER call this a faux. And my blog is named after me thinking everything I wear is a big faux pas (but I just don't care! I wear it out anyway! lol)

ReplyDeleteIts a cool thing to do to post random pics. Like i find it really contradictive how fashion bloggers go out on 'shoots', when really isnt fashion blogging supossed to document your day to day style? I like how you post things you are actually wearing on your day to day :)
