i love you but i don't love track #12

You know how it is....if it's the boys' car, it's the boys' sounds. Unless they're in damage control mode for something they cannot fathom why/what/how/when/where it is wrong, but it has been deemed wrong by us and therefore must be fixed by token gestures of affection.

Then, you get to listen to whatever you ears desire....for the trip there.

But never the trip home. Why? Do they suffer from 'last-song-I-heard-is-song-stuck-in-brain-and-shall-be-whistled/hummed/sung badly/line referenced wittily/drummed/head banged/faux instrument played/foot tapped/mimicked during dinner-until-I-return-to-my-car-tomorrow' syndrome so badly that their preferred audio noise MUST be played on the ride home?

Obviously yes in Biggies case. I have yet to be Master and Commander of home-trip music.

I love Biggie to pieces. But, I hate track #12. Skip. Skip, skippetty, skip that SHIT!

wearing: karen walker zip sweatshirt dress from karen walker.com, boys soccer socks from the warehouse, pointer x karen walker alice boat shoe, sheepskin bucket hat from trade me, smug and back in love look from big r being good to me.
What's all ^^^^ this got to do with the dress? Um, that there is my 'sorry-for-being-a-dick' dress. Designed by Karen Walker. Purchased by Big R. Worn by me.

the list may 2010

Where have I been? Nowhere and everywhere. With teen siblings who demand entertaining on school holidays, I have been stressed out/asked for hand outs/take me out and about....no, I do not like green eggs and ham, I do not like them Sam I Am.

I do like creating shopping lists. Wish Lists. Must Have Lists. Created Lists. Edited Lists. Restarted Lists. Lost Lists. Started Again Lists. The Lists have been endless. But Winter is snuffling it's way here and I must get onto THE LUST LIST FOR WINTER 2010. (Obvi for our Northern Hemispherians, you are about to embark on Spring/Summer. Yay for you.)

But for us Southern Hemispherians....it's all about this wintery goodness.

THE LIST MAY 2010.

The Perfect Dress. Every season heralds a new 'perfect' dress from the big guys and the little guys. And I am a sheep. Baaaaaa, baaaaaa. But I have always been a sucker for prim/proper/picnic at hanging rock type dresses. And these will do nicely. Please, each of you deposit $5 into my dress fund. Thank you.

Ruby Boutique 'Sweetheart' Dress. Sheer sweetness. Ahhhhh. The Karen Walker 'Penny Smock' Dress. You know you want it. Especially if your name is Penny. I'm considering a legal name change so I can justify to Big R why I should have it. WISH ME LUCK.

Juliette Hogans's 'Phoebe' Dress. Her librarian chic is enticing. Librarian and enticing. Who would've thought?

Them Thingy's That Keep You Warm In Winter. We would be rather chilly and unable to offer more than a corpse-like handshake, or perhaps, have extreme difficulty giving the finger effectively, if we were not kept nice and cosy. Toasty. Snuggly. Take your pick. My picks?

TwentySeven Names Blazer. Not available yet. Gutted. Ruby Boutique 'Angels' Coat. Indeed. I need.

Juliette Hogan 'Amelie' Cape....PHWOAR! Is it the bow? Is it the colour? Is it a cape? A coat? A dress? See? PHWOAR! And Kate Sylvester...the blazer and harness belt. Strap me up, I'm ready! Though, I would probably don some trousers. Or in the least, tights.

Deadly Ponies 'Zonker' Jumper-pre orders are available from Superettes online store. I suggest you do it. It's gonna go. It's gonna be a Zonker-clicking-frenzy on this bunny. Mark my words.

A Burberry inspired Shearling Aviator Jacket. Have my beady little eyes on one.....somewhere, out there in web land....but if I tell you, then I'd have to kill you.

The maxi skirt. All possibilities of the dangerous trip'n'fall are null and void. Don't care. Will wear. These two examples are exceptional. Juliette Hogans Summer 09 'Floor' Skirt and the Celine Rita Maxi 'Princess' Skirt. Uh, it's the gorgeous colours and the connotation that I shall be princess-slash-ballerina-like when wearing it is enough for me. Glide, glide, glide.

The Perfect Shirt. Ruffles? Check. Button up? Check. Demi sheer? Check. Sweet. Sold!

Stolen Girlfriends 'Lara' Shirt is the business and not just in the front. All over that mutha. I want it all over me.
Anchor Me. Your feet will love you right back if you put them in these this winter.

The Wittner 'Panama' heeled desert boot. Or should that be dessert boot? I know I'd like to give it a wee nibble. Comes in tan too. It's like looking at the dessert menu while the waitress hovers...pick, pick, pick....I'llllll haaaaaave theeeeeeee....blue. No. Tan. Uh, can you give me 5 minutes please?

#105 who's that clip clopping over my bridge?

Today I felt like a troll. No rhyme or reason. Just did.
Note to self: buy a wishing troll.

But I guess adding to my Kid Robot collection will do.
Feel free to visit Federation's outlet store in Albany and pick me up one. I need a pick me up.

Glad to see baggier pants are on the up and up. These Skylark Boutique trousers are paper-bag-high-waisted-slack-thighed beauties AND over 2 years old. They have been waiting patiently in The Cave to get a good thrashing. When I saw them on the rack hanging like some John Wayne cowboy slacks, I knew they had to be mine. Who doesn't love a pair that challenge you to a gun fight?

Still, doesn't detract from the fact that I feel in a phunk.

Go on, off you go, take your wallet and buy me a Kid Robot...and a pistol. I'm about to get in a gun fight at dusk.

wearing: skylark pants, acne atacoma wedges, grey top from cotton on, wolf tee from the warehouse, bag from witchery via smith and caugheys, black lip and troll face are my own.
