As I have spouted in many posts before this one came to fruition, I'm keeping it real [and slimming, lets not forget slimming...who am I kidding...I'm still Bad Santa for another month and a bit and no amount of black is doing me any good when it comes to slimming territory!] and I'm sticking with black. Here's the rack that's in high rotation though admittedly the pants are generally worn, flying low and with this DIY belly band [read: black tee with the top part cut off!] to hide my bits n pieces.
Using layers.
Playing with texture.
Utilising interesting cuts.
Keeps it un-boring.
I think. I hope for your sakes anyway.
NOTE: these were taken BEFORE the push presents arrived, so imagine there's a pair of Acne Pistols and a CG tank hanging there too.

amazingggggg!!! i want ALL ur clothes!!! :D
ReplyDeletei'm drooling over it all. well, actually my keyboard ;)
ReplyDeletei try to mix it up for the blog... it's like blogging has given me a reason to wear all the other non black things that sit around otherwise?!?! whatever that is all about i don't know. guessing it is a grown up version of dress up.... BUT i wear black most of the time. or black layers and jeans. sooooo... i'm all about these photos....
xo
bravegrrl: I know what you mean...I have grey, white, cream, navy, burgundy, blush and tan in there too. Just have trouble feeling/fitting them at the mo. Once I stop looking like a Human Sized Easter Egg whenever I wear anything other than black, you may see more colour popping back in :-)
ReplyDeletewowza girl, you have a lot of black - loving all the different textures! x

Hey 99: They are the Acne Atacoma wedges, but you can get all sorts of knock offs now from Jeffrey Campbell to Orbit to random trade me sellers....
