the purchase | socks...

One body part that doesn't go oversized/overstretched/over-the-sides post-baby is actually a pair.

A pair of feet.

Thank god I can still buy some things without fretting about whether or not they will fit.

The only thing going over with this latest procurement was me going over board.

But I love socks. Love, love , love them. I know the trend is leaning towards ankle baring socklessness but I'd rather be dressing up my tootsies in a quirky cotton/elastane mix than applying complicated fabric plaster like some horse getting prepped for a dressage event. [I won't say I'll NEVER go sockless...in fact, it's highly likely I will-just Girl Guide it and Be Prepared!]

Plenty of options there, though I could not find an orange pair to fully round out the sock spectrum. Can't wait to rock my socks off [on?] over spring/summer, hell, even during winter, if the rain stays away, with my Douglas Sandals [oh yeah, I'm definitley going there!] and the pair of oxblood loafers I've yet to find.
