remembering the good ole days...

Spent the day at Auckland Museum....getting cultured, remembering the good ole days of school trips spent running around the place with a total lack of respect for all that was within those majestic walls and lamenting the fact that some of the jewellery [body plates, loin cloths, neck pieces, nose bones] would never be mine.

Man, they had some cool schtuff way back.....

I didn't pap the outfit but I remembered the good ole days when my body had not gone haywire and I could actually fit my clothes and wasn't reduced to a loose shirt and stretchy pants.....[sigh].
Appreciate the body you got while you can....
.....cos one day it might decide to rise up against the constraints of fashion and decide it wants to have a baby.

i don't know if i'm ready for 2011.....

label me what you like: lazy bones, master procrastinator, delayer of the inevitable....i'm just not ready for 2011 yet. i have put off posting for near on a month [sacriligeous!] but i have good reason--which i STILL cannot tell you yet, sorry.

but here are some quick and rather nasty looking pieces of photographic evidence that i'm still alive and kicking. well, kicking is a slightly 'active sounding' term to use when i'm more aptly described as, well....idling.
