What I've Worn: All Black on a Sunny Day

Yes it's a sunny day and yes it is warm so an all black everything ensemble sounds a little ridiculous. But I wasn't even sweaty. True story. Mind you, hardware stores are renowned for their highly effective air-conditioning and I could've worn a snowsuit and still been on the chilly side. Hardware store? Dressed like this? Yes and yes. And I did look like the one thing that didn't belong there, I was the one thing that isn't the same. But I'm now fully geared up for some  DIY's that are either going to save me some big pennies or cost me some big tantrums.

We'll see. Stay tuned.

In other news - of the slow variety - I went to the mall. Again. For the third time this week. Oh the shame, the shame, the shame. It's not good when the people in the centre kiosks stop accosting you as you walk past...and it ain't 'cause I have a some serious 'Back Off Sucker' game.
wearing: Karen Walker 'The American Girl' cap in burgandy painterly, ASOS Cats Eye  sunglasses in tortoiseshell, dollarstore ghetto hoops, Jay Jays men's baseball jacket, old sheer blouse, DIY cut offs, Columbine spotted tights and men's retro runners from The Warehouse.

And yes....I'm doing ghetto hoops - $3.90 for 8x pairs varying in diameter. Oh yes, they get bigger than this. Ghettoverit!
