What I've Worn: Neon Jeans and Sneaker Heels

If you were to take me to one side, take my hands in yours, look me in the eyes and say, "One day...I don't know when but one day...you will wear neon yellow jeans and...a pair of sneakers...not normal ones...ones with a built in heel...this day, I foresee for you." I would have laughed in your face! Laughed so hard, I could've weed in my pants a little.

Hmm.

Never say never, yo!
wearing: old-as marle blazer, as colour tee, Kmart jeans, Rubi sneaker heels with Black Box Boutique tote.
I stopped in at Just Jeans today. The following conversation took place between me and the sales assistant. True story.

"Hey Buddy! How's it going? Ooohhhh, cool jeans Bro! Where'd ya get those?"

"Kmart."

"What were you looking for today? Anything I can help you with? Ahhh...you lookin' for something in particular mate?"

"Yeah, no thank you....Buddy."

"Did that guy just call you 'buddy' and refer to you as a bro?"

"Yeah. Yeah he did. And he called me 'mate'."

"How to lose a customer 101: be a dick."

"Yeah. Yeah he was. And they did."

  1. Customer service is such a joke sometimes, its so fake and usually just a deterrent. It makes shopping online that much more enticing!

Although I must say, NZ customer service is much better than in Aus! People are just plain rude here. Except at Aesop, which was pretty much the best experience ever.

    1. It's hard because I come from Fashion Retail - Store Manager - and it's so hard for me to experience really bad service. I'm not asking for the faux suck up job, just be nice and genuine and interested in me and happy to be at work, ya know?
